A cracking July at Bonfida, bare with us as we zoom through the highlights. This month we showcased some noteworthy integrations with the Solana Name Service Spotlight, added new ones as the month passed and as always, continued building.
So, what happened?
The time has finally come, notifications for your auctions! Notifi’s integration allows you to set up alerts for auctions with SMS and/or email. This’ll ease the auction process as you no longer have to be outbid unknowingly. Expect a holistic integration expanded across most of our SNS services from fixed price listings to unsolicited offers.

As you may know, we have been hard at work redesigning the UI/UX experience for our users. The naming service site has recently been revamped and we eagerly moved on to and completed the main website https://bonfida.org/. New sections you will find is “Build with us” containing all the developers resources you may need, “Blog” section to stay up to date on the latest and lastly an “About us”.
You can look forward to Staking, Buy & Burn and Bonfida Swap being redesigned next!
Say hello merch! We recently dropped some merch exclusively for Bonfida Wolves holders. After doing proper due diligence we finally found products of high quality that can be shipped right to your door.
We additionally built a developers guide for serverless merch; distribute merch to your community without any backend server. It is a CLI used to (1) fetch and save orders as a csv file, (2) create a vendor configuration file and (3) create an RSA keypair. With this guide you can set up any conditions from holding NFTs, tokens and more.

Over the last month and a half we have had the honor of hosting some of the top projects on Solana that have integrated SNS. During the conversation we touched on topics on the future of Web3 and the overall importance of having a metaverse ID in our sphere.
A key aspect highlighted is the need to ease the blockchain experience for current and incoming users as much as possible. The Solana Name Service seems to be well positioned to serve these needs as we make moves in Web3.
$FIDA is now listed on Kucion & MEXC to add to the list of 10 other major exchanges!
NFTScan, a crosschain NFT explorer, and Dtools, a Web3 tooling project were added to the Solana Name Service integration list this month.
NFTScan has included .sol domain lookup, to view transactions and easily scan through user NFT holdings via searching for a Solana domain name. Similarly, Dtools have replaced wallet addresses with .sol’s and allows searching these instead of a pubkey.
We are seeing more and more projects opting to integrate the Solana Name Service, especially explorers, showcasing the convenience of a metaverse ID above and beyond just having a pubkey.
A new in-house Solana Name Service Resolver is now at your disposal. With the resolver you can browse SNS websites directly from your favorite browser! The set up is seamless and only requires editing the “Records” section of your domain name. A full guide can be found here.
And of course it’s open source: https://github.com/Bonfida/name-resolver
In addition to the Solana Name Service Resolver, we expanded the “Records” section with SHDW. Now you can point your domain name to your Shadow Drive by GenesysGo.
Find our new and improved transaction modal; this’ll clearly indicate where you are in the transaction process and comprehensively explain success and/or error messages.
On top of that, you can now list a domain for a fixed price in mSOL as well as make unsolicited offers in the newly added currency.
Lastly, we continue to enhance the searching capabilities of domain names - added this week were digit and number only filters.
Build an NFT gallery for any Solana domain name. Building on the use cases of your .sol, creating NFT galleries are one of them. Use these to search for the NFT holdings of other domain name owners, to flex your own or to access an NFT marketplace directly from the gallery.
This month we had a milestone; reaching a total of 180K domain names registered! Together with almost 50K Twitter handles linked to a public key. Our growth statistics remain consistent even during bearishness.
Yet another record-breaking buy & burn by quantity. A total of $219,347 $FIDA was burned at an approximate USD value of $121,079.
That’s a wrap for the latest at Bonfida. Stay tuned for next month’s Exclusive #12!
Until next time, stay safe and take care.
