Today we are announcing a long-awaited feature for the Solana Name Service! We have officially partnered with Notifi Network to deliver a notification system for your domain name auctions.
Notifi powers personalized interactions between Web3 developers and their users by offering embedded notifications and messaging services to on-chain protocols. Thus, encouraging developers to engage with their users via multichannel communications using advanced applications and built-in global infrastructure.
With this integration, SNS users are able to set up auction alerts after they have successfully placed a bid in an auction. Auction alerts will be in the form of email and/or SMS notifications once you have been outbid. Under the “offer” section, users are able to view the notification status for each auction they participate in, turn on or turn off the alerts, and edit the current information they put in.
SNS traders can take full advantage of this tool by easily monitoring bids placed on their favorite domains. In doing this, reducing the probability of a user being uninformed that they have been outbid, increasing the opportunity for re-bids and as a result the chances of actually obtaining your desired domain name. Overall, the goal in mind is to enhance the user experience and efficiency of the auction system.
