Our partnership with DigitalEyes (DE) has been nothing short of prestigious. DE is an online, open marketplace for buying and selling NFTs — and now includes a secondary marketplace for our very own .sol domain names. This integration has been long anticipated by our community members and we couldn’t be more pleased to deliver.

Finally, A Secondary Marketplace for .sol Domain Names

Thanks to DigitalEyes, the integration you have been counting on, has finally arrived. DE has successfully integrated the Solana Name Service and currently offers a secondary marketplace for .sol domain names! This allows you to trade an SNS domain just like an NFT. This is a big step for Bonfida, such that users can use their domain name akin to an NFT, but with the added advantage of all SNS’s use cases.

On DE’s UI, users can see both the primary and secondary auctions taking place on Bonfida’s site.

With this integration, you can easily list your domain name for resale, directly on DE, as opposed to being completely confined to Bonfida’s site. It’s as easy as a click of a button! Please note, DE only supports secondary auctions, i.e. the resell of domain names, where all initial auctions will still take place on Bonfida’s site.

DigitalEyes Replaces SOL Addresses with .sol Domain Names

One of the main functions of SNS is to grant the use of a memorable domain name instead of an unreadable wallet address. Partnering with DE has generously allowed the expansion of this use case, through replacing your complicated wallet address with the unique domain name you own. That is, after connecting a wallet on DE, it will automatically display all the domain names owned by that wallet, making NFT owners easily recognizable via their .sol domain names.

DigitalEyes Integrates Jabber

Another noteworthy mention is DE’s integration of Jabber, Bonfida’s on-chain messaging app.

This integration does not only permit displaying your NFTs on Jabber, but also gives users the opportunity to directly communicate with owners of NFTs they see on the marketplace.
