SNS Statistics

As per usual we always provide you with up-to-date Solana name service statistics every Monday. From the stats, you can see that secondary sales have quieted down a bit which matches the general trend of NFT volumes over the past two weeks. Domain name registrations remain consistent.

Developments

This week a lot of focus was placed on upgrading and optimizing certain features on the naming service site.

Magic Eden listings under the fixed price tag

First, NFT domain listings on Magic Eden are now aggregated under our fixed-price listings tab. Previously, these NFTs could only be found in the SNS Optics section and may have required a little movement on the website. The feel of buying a native or an NFT domain should be identical since they are all aggregated under one spot on our website. Buying whichever one of them will have the exact same flow.

General UI upgrades

The feedback campaign has revealed some minor improvements to be implemented on the UI. These included switching some buttons such as the Connect wallet around to make it easily accessible, adding auction timers to the inline domain view and bettering view options for the statistics page on a mobile browser.

New feature

Place unsolicited offers on fixed-price listings! Unsolicited offers were always available for unlisted domains. However, if you have been keeping an eye out on a domain that stays listed and the price is still too inflated for you - here’s your chance. Tempt the seller with an offer on their listed domain and they may just budge.

International Women’s Day

On the 8th of March, we celebrated international women’s day. Team members joined a Twitter Space held by Relation labs alongside other phenomenal female builders in Web3. We discussed that opportunities supersede challenges in the crypto space for females. We have opportunities to pave the way in the new economy together with many like-minded individuals.

It’s important to consider and reflect that many women are still fighting for these basic rights and opportunities - we are all one as humans.

Coming Soon: Chinese Blog

We are in the process of translating our general blog into Chinese for our website. Soon you will be able to toggle to either English or Chinese. It’s important to us to cater to as many cultures as possible and even though we don’t have the capabilities to do it all; if you have any further suggestions on how we can improve, let us know!
