Solana Name Service Ecosystem

We haven’t reflected back on our Solana name service ecosystem for a while. SNS has been integrated into 60+ projects across Solana and other multi-chain projects. Establishing .sol domain names as one of the most widely integrated name service options in the space.

Developments

On a more technical note; a refactor of SNS Collectors has recently been rolled out. This may not sound as exciting as it actually is. In Layman’s terms, this will stabilize the SNS API and allow for faster and more efficient fetching of data. Essentially, secondary sales (no matter the marketplace), auctions, new registrations, owners and anything SNS-related will update at a close to real-time speed on our website. The difference should be notable within the coming week.

A write-up for those interested in the technicalities that took place in backend will be available soon.

Additional Language for Help Center

This week we added yet another language added to our Help Center, French! This equals five available languages in total, thus promoting SNS’ accessibility globally.

Twitter is Back Up Again

After a painful process of trying to get our original Twitter account back and our newly created backup accounts being almost auto-suspended, we’ve finally managed to get one to stay.

Although this account is 95K followers down from our old one, we are invested in making this just as big of a success. It is exciting to have the opportunity to show a broader audience what we have been working on and more so the time you guys have invested to help us to do so.

As a side note, we will continue fighting to get our other account back.

SNS Referral Program

A referral program is a system that was built into our backend which will permit users and other projects to make small profits from the SNS registrations they initiate.
