While you were hodling for days, the Bonfida team has been deciding on the best way to merge the Solana Name Service and Bonfida Wolves accordingly. Well, we’ve come up with a great merger, if we may.

We’re pleased to announce that starting today you can use your Bonfida Wolf to pay for any unregistered domain of your liking. This means you can value your wolf up to 25 times the current floor price if you register a 1-character domain worth 740 USD.

The character length and price of the domain you want do not matter. One wolf equals one domain.

Please do note though, that this will only work for unregistered domains.

Connect the wallet that holds a wolf. Choose any domain of your liking as you usually would. As stated above, this only works for unregistered domains - this means you can’t buy a domain off of the secondary market with a wolf. Add the domain to your cart and proceed to checkout.

During the checkout process, your UI will be populated with the wolves you own. You can choose one to pay with. Given you want to buy more domains than the number of wolves you own, please be aware to choose a token option to pay the premium.

Once you have selected a wolf it will clearly indicate which one you chose and that no funds will be charged in the summary. Remember, if you choose to pay with a wolf it will be burned and it will be removed from the mint supply. You will not be able to get this wolf again.

Approve the following transactions and there you have it, you’ve just exchanged your wolf for a domain. A striking deal if you ask me.
